Beginnings
I am child of the Windrush generation. My parents emigrated from Antigua and Guyana to England where I was born. I then moved to Antigua where I grew up with my maternal grandparents . My childhood in Antigua influenced my love of language, narrative and storytelling. I have explored these interests in academic research and teaching and I am now doing so in creative writing.
